As an intern at WBOY-12, Jade gets hands-on experience in a broadcast studio. From learning producing techniques, assisting with live video shoots and writing stories with the web production team, Jade is excited to be a part of the Nexstar team.
In her senior year at West Virginia University, Jade serves as the fall 2022 intern at WBOY-12, a Nexstar Media Group station located in Clarksburg, WV. Through her internship, Jade fully experiences what it is like working at a broadcast sutiod beyond a classroom setting whether its assisting the video editors, web producers, or learning production techniques. While she is not a West Virginia native, she immerses herself in all-things West Virignia to inform community members in the 174th ranked market. Check out her work with WBOY!
