The Dominion Post
Working in print media, Jade focused on her AP style writing and photography skills.
Although Jade is focused on video editing, it is equally important to improve writing skills. Through the West Virginia Press Association Foundation, she received a summer internship with the local Morgantown paper to inform the community about essential news.
By promoting local events, Jade grew her journalistic skills to be a full multimedia journalist beyond video to be well-rounded. Through her work at The Dominion Post, it allowed her to focus on the importance of local news while print media faces the paramount challenges of relevancy in the digital age. She made front-page on the print copy of The Dominion Post multiple times.
