West Virginia University Projects
Throughout her undergraduate time at West Virginia University, Jade has worked on miscellaneous projects for classes that provided stepping-stones for her to be the journalist she is now.
Jade created the graphic "The Best of West Virginia," during her time as the teaching assistant for the senior-level sports broadcast class' special edition final show. She loved working with students to develop their video editing skills while also challenging herself to learn more about the sports industry. She served as the production coordinator for all five broadcasts of Mountaineer Playbook, and she helped students pitch story ideas, edit - and sometimes shoot, their video packages - to have the videos ready by the show dates/
Even with two years of a global pandemic, Jade created videos for her journalism classes ranging from topics about the local farmers market, the inside scoop of cheerleading at WVU and a holiday toy drive in December 2021.
