WTVR CBS-6

Serving as a photojournalist at an award-winning broadcast station working with a team to utilize her creative eye to capture special moments.

From working collaboratively to planning, shooting, and editing video packages, Jade immerses herself in her love of video journalism. Ever since high school, she knew she wanted to pursue a career in videography.

Applying for jobs during her last semester of graduate school, she shortly obtained a hybrid videographer and editor role at WTVR-CBS6 before she graduated. With her strong work ethic, she was promoted to a photographer position within her first three months at the station. Producing video packages on daily deadlines, she ensures that, even with quick turnarounds, the video is of excellent quality. Even in a stressful environment, she attacks each day positively.

Recently, Jade won her first regional Emmy after working one year in the industry for the deadly graduation day shooting in Richmond.
